Andreas Olofsson, CEO
Andreas Olofsson founded Adapteva in 2008 with a mission to create a new class of massively parallel processors that will forever change the computer industry. Starting in 1996, Andreas has worked in areas ranging from silicon process flow development all the way up to system level definition. While working at Analog Devices for 10 years, Andreas designed some of the most energy efficient DSPs and mixed signal SOCs on the planet and helped generate over $100M in sales. At Adapteva, Andreas has been the architect and lead designer of the Epiphany chip products and the Parallella computer project, while also running the business side of the company.  Andreas holds a BS degree in Physics and BS/MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Andreas has over 20 patents issued and/or pending.
